Successful growth of baby mussels in Kiski River

Baby mussels in concrete silos implanted in the Kiski River have more than doubled in size, indicating good water quality and suitable habitat to re-introduce mussels in the once heavily polluted waterway in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. Read more about it in Triblive, April 21, 2022.
